Shadow Lake ( also known as ‘Bor Ngao Nam’ in Thai which loosely translated means ‘Shadow Lake’ ) is located approximately 90km out of Bangkok, travel time from Bangkok will vary based on traffic conditions.

Shadow Lake is a large, beautiful lake and having been operating for close to 30 years it is very “mature”
Shadow Lake is not visited by many tour companies, making the venue less expensive to fish than places like Bungsamran.
The fish species & sizes at Shadow Lake are very similar to Bungsamran Lake – with Mekong Catfish to 140kg The major difference between Bugsamran and Shadow Lake being that the stocking levels of the Mekong Catfish at Shadow Lake are little more moderatly balance with other species.
The average size Mekong Catfish at Shadow Lake is around 80lb – hence when fishing specifically for them; you may just have the fishing session of your lifetime!
